A young ladd name Jonnie Lindberg did hang out in our shop just a year ago, rebuilding his brothers Top Methanol Funny Car. And that with succes! Johan won the European Championship last year. About the same time Jonnie worked at Johans car, he flew forth and back to US racing his own Funny Car. He was doing quite OK over there then, but didnt win any race. Today we can just salute Jonnie and his super-team to be the fastest Top Methanol Funny Car-team in the world. Last weekend he beat all TMFC racers at 4-wide Nationals in Charlotte, North Carolina. And is now bringing home his second Wally in just a few weeks as well as making history of beeing the youngest world recordholder.

This season is historic as the three first races in NHRA series has been taken by Swedes. Jonnie wins at Pomona, next win is Leander Bros at Gainesville and now the third goes to Sweden again. Can we hope for a Swedish win in Las Vegas as well? The future will tell. Now we enjoy the Swedish success so far. Well done all brothers!!
